I had the perfect photo for this challenge. After a visit to the royal castle, Anton wanted king dress out clothes and my mom made it for him. On Easter, Swedish children dress out like little sweet witches, it is on old tradition. They knock on people's doors and often hand out Easter cards and get sweets back. Anton had made some really nice cards using my supplies - Prima flowers, beads, stamping etc. But we didn't have a magician outfit, and no traditional basket. Instead, he used his king clothing and we tied feathers to his Halloween basket. He had a great time.
There is a bunch of royal inspired items on this layout: gold, more gold, stars, and a crown. I used Tim Holtz Motif cardstock for my background, which has an embossed pattern that resisted the Distress Spray Stain misted on top.
I misted the background with Tarnished Brass and Mowed Lawn. When dry, it was also stitched on my sewing machine. The prize ribbon was die cut from Silver Deco sheet, Kraft-Core Metallic Core'dinations paper and white cardstock. The sentiment was done with rub-ons and a ChitChat sticker.
A die cut frame became the home for a stamped sentiment. The photo was matted on white cardstock, and gold Deco Sheet, the panel opens and there are more photos and journaling underneath.
I die cut a film strip and a ticket strip from white cardstock and stamped tickets on the latter. The label and sentiment comes from the Simple Sayings set. The crown was gold embossed and cut out.
