Textured Circle Background Tutorial

Hi everyone! I am happy to have a tutorial on the Simon Says Stamp store blog today. I made an art journal page, but the technique is also perfect for cardmaking.

Layers of ink - Textured Circle Background Tutorial by Anna-Karin Evaldsson.

Here is a little peek of the project. I made an art journal page with an uplifting winter sentiment, since the dark and cold period feels a little hard this year. Normally, I like winter, but not now, with the pandemic and the fact that it is so much easier to spend time with family and friends outdoors during the warmer months, than when it is cold and rainy. Hopefully, we'll get snow soon and today I took out our winter/Christmas garden lights, which make a big difference.

I used the Mix and Match Circles stamp set to create a texture background with lots of circles. The circles on the set coordinate and can both be layered and overlapped. Lots of possible variations. The trees where die cut with the Evergreen Trio by Poppy Stamps. You can find the tutorial and lots of close-ups on the Simon Says Stamp store blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! See you again tomorrow!

Happy crafting!
