Hi friends! I hope you had a good weekend! We had lovely weather, a visit from a friend and some really nice walks.

This week we have a Romance: wedding & anniversary theme at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog. Don't miss the lovely project by our May guest designer Wanda Hentges.
I wasn't sure what to do first, but decided to go with a heart theme and made a card that works for more occasions than wedding/anniversaries. The background is stamped and dry embossed and the hearts were die cut from paper colored with
Paper Artsy Infusions Colored Stains.
Fold and score along all the score lines to make it easier to assemble the hearts.
Assemble the hearts and glue them together.
Smear Lost Shadow and Pumice Stone Distress Ink on a non-stick craft sheet, mist with water and press the paper into the ink here and there. Emboss in Simon Says Stamp Spun Glass embossing folder.
When dry, add more Distress Ink to the craft sheet, mist with water and just dab the paper into the ink, for more texture.
The sentiments come from
Tim's Tiny Text set and were stamped with Archival Ink Watering Can on watercolor paper.
Distress the edges of the embossed paper, mount on
two shades of grey and finally on folded dark grey cardstock.
This embossing folder is so pretty. Stamping the script in grey makes for a softer look than had it been stamped with black ink.
The faceted heart die is an old favorite of mine and gives such great dimension.
The green heart is my favorite.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
