Hello friends! I hope you had a good weekend. Here we got quite a lot of snow.

Our theme this week at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Transport It. I hope you will join us and don't miss the project by our January guest designer Estelle Palumbo aka Atouscrap.
My favorite means of transportation is to walk. If I can walk somewhere or do an errand on foot, I will always pick that. So I did an art journal page about that using Tim Holtz's Sideshow stamp as my focal point. The page is in my Small Creative Flip Journal.
I started with a piece of watercolor paper, smeared Distress Ink on a non-stick craft sheet, misted with water and pressed the paper into the ink. I had added a pencil line as a guide.
Continue in the same way with more Distress ink. Let dry and then add more.
Stamp the image with black ink.
Ink the Simon Says Stamp Solid Grid Background with brown and black Distress Ink, mist with water. Use a torn printer paper to mask the sky and then stamp. Stamp the tree from Simon Says Stamp All Seasons Tree in the same way.
Add Distress Oxide ink to a non-stick craft sheet, mist with water and lightly press the paper into the ink here and there.
The combination of Distress Ink and Distress Oxide Ink gives a layered effect with a mix of transparent and opaque.
I stamped the sky background with Simon Says Stamp Crackle Background and black ink.
I added some pen lines to the trees and on the ground area.
This sentiment comes from Tim's World Traveler set.
By coincidence the area inside the heart became lighter.
I used Clippings Stickers to add more sentiments.
I hope you will join us this week in our Transport It theme. You have a chance to win a $25 gift voucher to do some fun shopping at Simon Says Stamp. You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in.
I really really like this Anna. I appreciate your talent.
