A last card for the Hero Arts April challenge (sketch theme). I used one of the background papers I did the other evening playing around with dry embossing, wax crayon resist and watercolours:
The background was made by dry embossing a piece of watercolour paper, rubbing it with a wax crayon and then paint it with watercolours. I wanted the middle panel of the sketch to be clear, so I embossed a piece of acetate and sandwiched it in between the two watercolour strips. You might see the embossed acetate better on this photo:
