Journaling Card Box Tutorial

Hi everyone! I am happy to have a tutorial on the Simon Says Stamp Store blog today. Here's a peek of my project:

Layers of ink - Journaling Card Box Tutorial by Anna-Karin with Sizzix Eileen Hull Recipe Card Box.

In the tutorial, I am making a box from Eileen Hull's Sizzix Recipe Card Box die, and I show you some techniques using mat board, one of my favorite surfaces to work on. I love to use mat board, both as a base for 3-D projects and to die cut embellishments or letters from. The Sizzix Little Sizzles Mat Board comes in white and cream and the sheets are 6 x 13 in, which is perfect for die cutting. The techniques can be used on other surfaces too.

There are also twelve journaling or mini-cards, made with Tim Holtz Mini Motivation stamps and lots of Distress Ink.

To see the full project and tutorial, head over to the Simon Says Stamp Blog.

Thank you for stopping by today and I will see you again tomorrow!

Happy crafting!

Anna-Karin

  2. Stunning, brilliant fabulous! I went and looked but had to come back to comment - such an inspiring make it would make a beautiful gift. I might have to find away to make something similar, just brilliant.
