Hi friends! We have had a good Easter. Anton and I made some marzipan figurines, and some pretty ugly, but good, dinosaur chocolates. Yesterday, we had a very windy outing to a neighbouring town at a lake. The ice on the lake is melting and very cool ice formations had been created at the shoreline. It is Monday and this week at the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge we are Seeing Things Clearly and using transparent elements, something that is a favourite of mine.
I was planning to make a transparent tag, but when I was looking through some embellishments I came up on Tim Holtz new Mini Pocket Watches and decided to make myself a necklace instead. My clear element is the glass in the pocket watch.
When it comes to transparent surfaces, my favourite is Wendy Vecchi's Clearly For Art Modeling Film. If you want some inspiration regarding that check out my Ticket Notebook; Sunshine, Freedom & a little Flower Canvas, and Vintage Wood Panel, for example.
I hope you will join us in our Transparent challenge. As every week, you have a chance to win a $50 gift voucher from Simon Says Stamp. You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in.
If you want to, follow Simon Says Stamp on Instagram, they post great stuff daily.
If you use instagram add #sssmchallenge to your challenge entry uploads, so that we can see them on there too.
Thank you so much for visiting today!
Happy crafting!
