Hi all! This month Darkroom Door is one of the sponsors of CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration, and I used mainly Darkroom Door stamps on my layout. Here's the case file:
I felt like a different format this week, not square.
Love these flower stamps. I used Pan Pastels for all the colouring on this page. The flowers were coloured with a soft yellow and I used grey around the edges of the layout, also adding it here and there, to get the look of charcoal. I really liked the look of the pastels here. The background was sprayed with a matte fixative before continuing with the layout, to prevent them from smudging.
Under the photo, I stamped the Butterfly Post stamp twice, and coloured it with the pastels. The brand new Polaroid Frame stamp was stamped twice with Watering Can, cut out and layered over the photo. I had some leftover Tim Holtz Honeycomb Frameworks mirrored die cuts on my desk (from my Frameworks Mosaic Tutorial). Two strips of tissue tape covered up my somewhat crocked stamping.
Thank you for looking! I hope you will have a great weekend!!
Happy crafting!
Anna-Karin
