Hello weekend! And time for another CSI:Color, Stories, Inspiration challenge. Since it is a new month we also start with a new batch of challenges and a new theme. Here's the first case file of August:
And my layout:
I did a layout about flying with a small child and all the funny, and not so funny, things that can happen then. There is a long piece of journaling on the back. From the evidence I used: grid pattern, stamps, tags, stripes, ledger, circles, and travel accents. I was also inspired by the layered elements on the inspiration photo.
The background is manila cardstock, which was stamped with airplanes, maps, compass, dots and an airplane ticket, using Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire, Archival Vermillion and French Ultramarine, and Versafine Vintage Sepia. I inked the edges with Gathered Twigs and splattered some of the same ink mixed with water.
The tags behind the photo were die cut from cream cardstock. Two of them were stamped with a stripe stamp, using French Ultramarine, the third was stamped with a ticket stamp and brown ink.
Thank you for looking and I hope you will join us this week at CSI!
Happy weekend!
Anna-Karin
