It is time for a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog and this week our theme is Stamp It! It is the first Monday of a new month, which means that the team is showcasing products by a specific company/designer and this week it is Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products. You can find all the wonderful stamps, dies, stencils, inks, papers, tools and other products here.

We also have a new guest designer and during September namely Carol Gunn. I hope you will visit her blog and look at what she has created for the challenge.

STAMPtember® is filled with inspiration, creativity and surprises. The Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® release came out today. You can find it this huge release here.

Layers of ink - Pumpkin Tag Tutorial by Anna-Karin Evaldsson.

I made a tag with one of the new stamp sets from the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® release, namely the Pumpkin Blessings set. Three different sizes pumpkins were stamped on the background. Both the pumpkins and the background are watercolored.

Stamp with Simon Says Stamp Pumpkin Blessings.

Start by cutting a tag from watercolor paper. Stamp the pumpkins from Simon Says Stamp Pumpkin Blessings on the tag, with the sentiment a little bit above the middle of the tag.

Color with watercolors.

Watercolor the pumpkins, leaving a little of the paper showing for highlights.

Continue with a green/brown shade.

Paint the background with watercolor paint.

The background was watercolored with a light beige, dropping in a darker brown around the edges before the beige paint was dry.

Splatter with watercolor paint.

When dry, splatter with the dark brown paint.

Stamp with Simon Says Stamp Crackle Background.

Stamp here and there with Simon Says Stamp Crackle Background, for a little more texture.

I dropped a little yellow paint into the green on the green pumpkins.

The Pumpkin Blessings set has great sentiments and also a stamp with a banner perfect for the sentiment. I didn't use that stamp here.

I added a few marks with a white gel pen.
