It is time for a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog and this week our theme is Inspired by Music!
During September Carol Gunn is our guest designer. I hope you will visit her blog and look at what she has created for the challenge.
I started with this piece of music paper from one of Tim Holtz Backdrop paper sets. Ink the paper and tear the edges.
Ink and stamp the tag. The stamp comes from Tim Holtz Mini Halloween 3.
The image from Tim Holtz Purely Random was stamped on a piece of torn paper that I found in my scrap box, probably from an idea-ology ephemera paper.
Color with Prismacolor pencils. I used white for the skirt.
Simon Says Stamp Charming Flower Stem, from the new STAMPtember release was die cut from left-over watercolored papers. I cut the stem off, since I only wanted the flowers.
Shape with Tim Holtz Shaping Kit.
Glue the flowers to the tag.
I also cut the 'A' from a piece of paper that had been embossed with Tim Holtz Large Typewriter embossing folder. The stickers are Clipping Stickers.
The sentiment also comes from Purely Random and applies to many things in life.
I stitched three buttons to the tag.
Making tags using lots of scrap papers and odds and ends is always fun.
Don't miss all the inspiration and daily surprises during STAMPtember.
