Hello friends! It is Monday again and the sun is shining. The leaves of the birch trees are in an amazing shade of light green.

I made an art journal page this week, using mainly stamping and watercolors. Pear stamps are one of my favorites and here I used the pear from Stamper's Anonymous Classics #16. The page was done in my Stamperia Happiness Mixed Media Journal 4.5x8 in.
Start by stamping the pear three times with waterproof ink. I left a space for the title.
Stamp the title of the page. It comes from Tim Holtz Noble Gent.
Watercolor the background with teal paint and drop in a darker color around the edges and here and there, before the paint dries.
When the background is dry, stamp more sentiments and a row of birds. The sentiments come from Simon Says Stamp Create and from Tim Holtz Tiny Text. The alphabet stamp in the background is from Tim's School Desk. I wanted more highlights on the pears and stamped and white embossed dots.
The dots gave a nice texture to the pears and added highlights. The stamp comes from Tim Holtz Grunged set. I also painted a shadow under each pear.
The bird stamp is from Tim's Creative Muse set.
I added some pen marks to the pears, focusing on the dark areas.
