Hi everyone! Today, I am happy to share a tutorial on the
Sizzix blog using new dies by Tim Holtz.
As you might know, I love to make little houses, so I knew I was going to love Tim Holtz new Village Dwelling die and the coordinating Village Winter. This house started out as a Halloween house, but then I looked outside at the beautiful autumn trees and I changed my mind. The pot plants were made with the Tiny Tattered Florals die, and the pots from quilling paper. They were inspired by some autumn plants that my son and I planted in a pot the other day. I had fun creating a brick texture on the house.
It is easy to turn the house into a Halloween decoration, for example, by placing a spooky skeleton as a guard on its roof.
I hope you will enjoy this tutorial, to see all the steps, you'll have to head over to the
Sizzix blog.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Happy crafting!
