Spring Covered Bridge

Hello stampers! Our Let it be Spring challenge is almost over at Craft a Scene, and I have one more card to share.

I made an autumn card with the large Stampscapes Covered Bridge stamp last year, and wanted to do something similar, but with spring colours. This stamp is perfect for colouring with markers directly on the rubber and then stamp. I used green and brown markers for the trees, brown for the bridge and grey for the stones. After stamping, I added more colour, using dye inks and a Colorbox Stylus tool. An extra tree was stamped to the left to cover up some white space there. Finally, I added some highlights and flowers with a gel pen.

Thank you for looking!

Happy Stamping!

  2. Fabulous! The trees look amazing. I haven't had the time to pick up my scenic stamps. Your work makes me want to find the time.

  3. wow Anna-Karin. Your card looks like something I could purchase at a gift store from a major card making company like Hallmark! The colors are gorgeous and you've done such an expert job colorizing, blending and perfectly creating that spring scene. What a gorgeous stamp as well! <3 Candy

  4. Oh so pretty... your gift of inviting us into the scenes to take a walk is amazing. I want to go there!

  6. Beautiful! We use to swim beside an old covered bridge on a dirt road when we were kids and it looked much like this.
