Hello everyone! I am so happy to finally share my first Darkroom Door DT projects. It has taken long because my parcel got stuck in the middle of a postal strike, so I only recently got it. For this post, I used the wonderful Nomad rubber stamp set and made a layout and a double high accordion flip mini-book. I love the old stacked suitcases and fabulous sentiments.
These stamps are perfect for a travel layout:
Journey Word Block stamp works very well together with the Nomad set. I die cut three tags from manila cardstock for a photo mat, inked the stamp with Vintage Photo and Broken China, misted with water and stamped repeatedly, reinking between each impression.

I also made an accordion mini-book:
Nomad set, they of course work perfectly together. To make the mini-book, I used Karen Burniston's Sizzix Accordion Flip 3-D Album die, but to fit with the stamps, I made it double high (7 in tall) instead of its ordinary height (see how to do this here). I used Sydney Montage photos and Prague Vol. 2 Wordstrip to embellish the mini-book, both fit so well together with the stamps.
Sydney photo and some wordstrips.
Sydney photo with the pointing statue worked really well on a travel mini-book. Here I used more word cut outs and a vintage globe.
Thank you for looking at this long post!
