Hello friends! I hope you are well. The weather is getting warmer here and spring flowers are starting to appear. Most of the ice is gone from the paths where I like to take my walks.

This week we have Bright and Cheerful theme at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog. I hope you will join us! Don't miss the absolutely fantastic Easter project by our March guest designer Deborah Emmons aka designingdiva_73.
I love crocus flowers and although I haven't seen one yet this year, they will be out soon. The theme of my card is the brightness of spring, with bright flowers on a brown background. I also used a cheerful sentiment stamp.
Stamp the crocus from Simon Says Stamp Thoughtful flowers on Tim Holtz Backdrops papers.
Color with colored pencils.
Cut the flowers out and glue on the background. I like the look of colored pencils over old book papers or vintage papers.
I also splattered yellow and purple Scribble Sticks on the background and added Design Tape and sequins.
I stamped the word 'spring' from Simon Says Stamp All Seasons Tree here and there.
The label from Simon Says Stamp Mixed Labels was stamped with Pearfection ink and the sentiment from Document It was stamped with purple ink.
I hope you will join us this week in our Bright and Cheerful theme. You have a chance to win a $25 gift voucher to do some fun shopping at Simon Says Stamp. You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in.
The balance and placement of your sequins/ gems is so perfect. It always amazes me how people make it look so incredible!
