Flower tag in ink and pencil

Hello crafters. I hope you are well. The kids have had a week school holiday, called the 'sports holiday' since many go skiing. We went on shorter outings instead.

This week we have a Add Some Green theme at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog. I hope you will join us! We have had beautifully sunny weather recently. It is still cold, but spring is in the air. My favorite part of spring is all the shades of green, which is celebrated on this tag. I used the AALL & Create Worded Petals designed by Tracy Evans. 

Start by inking a tag with Distress Ink, using a torn printer paper as a mask. 

Stamp the flowers with Potting Soil ink and the dill with Pearfection ink.

Move the Simon Says Stamp Mix and Match Circles stencil across the tag until you have approximately circled the flowers with a large and a medium circle. Ink through the stencil with two shades of Distress Ink.

Color the flowers with colored pencils. The inked background will give a tinted effect to the coloring.

 

I added some lines and highlights with a white gel pen. It looks messy close up like this, but nice from more of a distance.

Ink around the edges with Forest Moss. Stamp words from the Worded Petals set on the background and add Clippings Stickers.

I stamped more of the dill branches, using a darker shade of green ink.

Add some white grass around the stems of the flowers and a rough white line around the tag.
