Quick Floral Card Sets

Hi crafters! Today I have six floral cards to share, which are easy and quick to make. They also work for many themes, which is probably my favorite type of card to make.

I used the beautiful Simon Says Stamp April Friendly Flowers card kit to make these. You can also get most of the products on their own, if the kit is sold out. Card kits are perfect for quick projects since you don't spend time picking papers, stamps and more. Everything on these cards, except for the pearls and ink come from the card kit. I made three cards with the three pre-scored cardbases as my base.

And I made three smaller cards, using the cardstock in the kit as my base. All the cards were made with the Simple Stories Vintage Cottage Fields paper pad included in the kit. The panels are sized 3x4 in making them great for cards.

I picked and cut off six of the panels and used sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp Friendly Flowers stamp set to add more words to the cards. This is a great way of customizing printed papers. I also added some word stickers, also from Simple Stories.

I adhered the panels to a cream cardstock mat and then stitched them to the folded background cardstock.

Stickers from Simple Stories Cottage Fields Sticker Book were added here and there.

I had fun matching the printed panels to sentiments from the Friendly Flowers stamp set. 'Missing you' was a part of the print, while 'more each day' is stamped.

Stickers work great for quick embellishments. Or you could use a stamp instead.

Distressing the edges adds shabby chic look to the cards.

The stickers coordinate perfectly with the patterned papers.

On the larger cards I added patterned paper from the kit under the main panel. There are three pre-scored cream cards in the kit and I used them here. That means that they will also fit perfectly into the Simon Says Stamp envelopes in the kit

Another combination of a printed and stamped sentiment.

For this card, I used two pieces of patterned paper in the background, to use up left-overs. The velvet ribbon is by Tim Holtz.

The butterfly pattern in the background is so pretty and the butterfly sticker has the same butterfly, but in a different pose.

Another example of combining the printed message with a stamped sentiment.

These cards are handy to have at home for when you need a card, or you could give them away to someone as a set.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by here today! I will see you again tomorrow.
