Flower Garden Scenic Stamping

Hello stampers! Today I have my second scenic card of the month for you, made for Craft a Scene's May Create Your Own Flower Garden challenge.

In my grandmother's garden there were a lot of little flowers, which were weed to her, but I couldn't understand that since I thought they were so pretty. I tried to create that type of lawn on this scene, by heat embossing Stampscapes flower stamps with white, yellow and pink embossing powders. After embossing the flowers, I stamped the scene using markers to ink up the stamps. The scene was coloured with dye inks using a Colorbox Stylus tool. The embossed flowers resist the ink. The banner was die cut from patterned paper, stamped with a sentiment and folded twice.

No need to worry about stray embossing powder with this technique, since each little speck looks like another flower. I also stamped the grass with the Sedge Filler stamp, to add more of a grass texture.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! There is still plenty of time to join us in the challenge.

Happy Stamping!

Anna-Karin
