Autumn Milk Carton

Hello everyone! Today I have a little project to share made with the brand new Sizzix Milk Carton Box Thinlits die. This milk carton is so cute and perfect for little gifts.

Milk Carton - Layers of ink
I die cut the milk carton from watercolour paper and stamped each side with a Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Blueprint leaf, using Ranger Archival Ink. I smeared Distress Inks on my craft sheet, misted once with water and picked up with a paint brush to watercolour the leaves.

I watercoloured the area around the leaves with Antique Linen and used Pumice Stone for a shadow under the leaves. When dry, the carton was splattered with Walnut Stain, again using a paint brush. Love the bits of texture this adds. I also stamped the carton with a script stamp and Antique Linen ink.

I stamped one of the top sides with a sentiment stamp, and used some Chit Chat stickers too.

The hinge clip was painted with Tarnished Brass Distress Paint.

The die both cuts and scores the paper so the box is very easy to assemble. I inked all the edges with Gathered Twigs and die cut a border from old book paper using the Moroccan Card Front die.

If you remove the hinge clip, you can open the box like this. Very cute!

Thank you for looking!

Anna-Karin
