Today I have some fun news to share. I am on the Craft a Scene design team! Craft a Scene is a challenge site focusing on scenic stamping. I am sure most of you already know that I love scenic stamping, so I am very happy to be on the team. Here are links to the blogs of the rest of the great DT:
Nancy (owner): Crafting Passions
Anja: Stampinganja
Shaz: Silverwolf Cards
Nadia: Scrap Affair
Diana: Floral Fantasies
To celebrate I thought I would share a scene that I made before starting this blog - it also happens to fit with this month's challenge theme at Craft a Scene, which is Beach - a bit of sand and water. Lots of possibilities with this great theme.
This scene is 8.5 x 5.5 inches and is done on glossy cardstock and coloured with dye inks using a Colorbox Stylus tool. The stars were stamped with Memento Paris Dusk, with some lighter areas added with markers direct to the rubber. The clouds were stamped with three different shades of pink and purple inks. The rest of the stamping was done with Archival Jet Black ink. The inks listed in the supply list were used to colour the scene, starting with the lightest shade (Salmon) and gradually going darker. Highlights were added with a white gel pen and mist was added with thin layers of Colorbox Frost White.
Thank you for stopping by!!
