Christmas card set

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! We had a wonderful time and a lot of fun. I was a bit off-line during Christmas, so I forgot to post my last Christmas card post for this year. I was planning to have posted it on Christmas Day. This set of cards is for the Hero Arts December challenge (card set and sketch theme). I am sorry about the poor group photo of the four cards, the cards were already given away when I realised just how bad that photo is.

This is my favourite of the four cards, because of the way the light shines on the manger:

The four cards are basically similar, I just placed the stamps a bit differently, used three different sentiments, and used hearts on two and stars on the other two. Distress Stains were smeared on my craft sheet (Vintage Photo, Antique Linen, Pumice Stone) and the four pieces of watercolour paper were dragged through, creating a quick background that is different every time. The cream paper was inked a bit and then stamped with Antique Linen using one of my favourite stamps. The circles were die cut from Core’dinations cardstock, embossed and sanded. The hearts and stars were die cut from grungepaper, painted gold and coated with Glossy Accents.
