Quick Gift Card Set Tutorial

Hi friends! We are continuing to have wonderful weather here and the world transformed to a stunning bright green in less than two weeks. My parents are visiting since this happens to be my birthday week and we have spent two days outdoors. I love the bright shades of green during spring and sometimes call it 'the green shock'. I even did a layout about that saying of mine years ago.

I am sharing a tutorial on the Sizzix blog, for a quick gift card set in a box. This would be great as a gift for someone, since little cards are always handy to have.

Layers of ink - Quick Gift Card Set Sizzix Tutorial by Anna-Karin
Did you know that Sizzix recently released four patterned paper pads? They are sized 6 x 12, so perfect for die cutting since you don't need to cut them to make them fit into your Big Shot or Vagabond. The papers are double-sided, which is also great for many die cutting projects such as this one. I used the Your are Loved clear stamp set by Lindsey Serata to embellish the cards, envelopes and box. The box is die cut with Eileen Hull's Recipe Card Box, and I used Tim Holtz Envelope and ATC & Corners dies for the envelopes and cards. The ATC cards fit perfectly into the envelopes.

To see the full tutorial, you'll have to head over to the Sizzix blog.

Thank you for the visit and have a lovely day!

  1. This is a great idea and these are so pretty! Love them. As usual, I tried leave a comment on Sizzix blog and it wouldn't take. I have the TH dies, I just need to get the die for the box. Love the colors and the stamping.
