Watercolour Summer Album

Hi friends! I hope you are well! Today I am sharing a little album inspiration on the Sizzix blog, which I really enjoyed making. I am planning to document outings to the sea during this summer in this album.

I used Sharyn Sowell's new Beach Collection dies for this project: the Album w/Bracket Edges, Children & Sandcastle, and Seaweed, Coral and Wave. The album die has such a fun binding mechanism, I love it. I couldn't find my dowel sticks, so instead I used one of many twigs that my son brings home from the forest. I painted a watercolour scene on the covers and continued that design on the inside pages.

For more info and photos, head over to the Sizzix blog.

Thank you for stopping by today and have a lovely weekend!!

  2. The water colour background for this lovely summer scene is perfect! I love the little twig (generously supplied by your son) for the spine. A darling little touch to add to the dearness of this little album.
Now I have to go over and see the rest of it! :)
