Mixed Media Storage Boxes

Hi friends! Today I am sharing a tutorial on the Sizzix blog, for mixed media storage containers made with Eileen Hull's Cookie Box die.

I love using my dies to make my own storage items and thought the Cookie Box would be great for small embellishments such as buttons and Tim Holtz idea-ology pieces. The boxes were painted with DecoArt paints and I used stamps from Hero Arts.

To see the full tutorial, you'll have to head over to the Sizzix blog.

Thank you so much for visiting today! Have a great weekend!

Supplies:

Paint: DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics: Diarylide Yellow, Cadmium Orange Hue, Cobalt Teal Hue, Phthalo Turquoise, Green Gold, Phthalo Green Yellow, Carbon Black, Titanium White
Medium: DecoArt: Matte Medium, Modeling Paste, Gesso

  2. These are wonderful!
I think that they could be made from cardboard ribbon spools.
    What do you think?
