CSI case file #105 - Yummy Elephant

Hello everyone!! A new CSI:Color, Stories, Inspiration case file is up, and since it is the second week of the month it also includes a sketch.

My layout:

From the evidence items I used: stars and circles, and from the testimony I added some journaling to speech bubbles (although they are really cloud die cuts). I wrote the journaling on the one patterned paper and it is about 'eating' a favourite elephant while probably watching Teletubbies or Timmy Time sitting on a pillow on the floor. The ears and the tail were the best tasting parts of that elephant. Those star pants were a favourite of mine.

I used hot press watercolour paper for the background, which is smooth. A Hero Arts stamp was inked with Pumice Stone, misted with water and stamped. I also misted the stamped image with some more water here and there on the background. When dry, the background was stamped with a tiny star background stamp and Stormy Sky ink.

The photos were layered on various patterned paper, all from 6 x 6 pads. I distressed all the edges. Arrows were die cut from left over pieces. The rhinestones are the same green as in the case file, but it doesn't show so well on the photo.

A banner was die cut, first from the back of one of the patterned papers and then from little pieces from some of the patterned paper. I shaped the banners a bit and glued them on top of the base banner. A few word stickers finished the banner.

Thank you for looking! I hope you will join us this week!

Happy scrappin!
