Hot-air balloons

This card is for Play Date Café challenge #134 and for this month’s Hero Arts challenge (thinking of you theme). Here’s the PDCC inspiration board:

 And my card:

The hot-air balloon stamp was stamped on light kraft smooth cardstock and coloured with coloured pencils. The banner was stamped on white paper and sponged with Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet. For the flower, 6 flowers were die-cut from dictionary paper, layered and attached together with a brad. Then I misted them with Perfect Pearls and water, crumpled them up and let dry. Finally, a bit of Squeezed Lemonade was sponged on the edges. Here's a close-up:

The top dictionary layer contains the definition of the word 'wind', fitting with the hot-air balloon stamp. I enjoy adding such little details on my projects.

Thank you for looking!!
