Clear cards

I had some left over acetate and folded both of them into cards. The cards use basically the same material (I needed two last minute Christmas cards). Both cards are for the Hero Arts December challenge (sketch 3).

The first card was stamped with Stazon metallic ink. Aluminium tape was adhered to cardstock and embossed. The trees were stamped with Memento Danube Blue and cut out. Very simple and quick. I added a panel the same size as the embossed panel on the inside, for the sentiment.

Here's a close up where you see the text on the acetate better:

Supplies: Hero Arts: Three Trees with Stars LP220, Merriest Christmas Wishes CG377, Holiday Background CG324; Stazon Platinum ink; Memento Danube Blue; Jenni Bowlin Weather Wane; Cuttlebug embossing folder; aluminum tape; lace trim.

Here's the second card:

The second card was embossed with a snowflake folder. The remaining piece of embossed aluminum tape was painted first blue, then sanded and then painted white and sanded again. Finally it was sponged with black Distress Ink and clear embossed (one of Tim’s techniques during 12 tags of Christmas). The trees and the sentiment were stamped with Jenni Bowlin Weather Wane.

A close up of the embossed metal:
